Fresh Prep: It’s bigger than Hip Hop
(Facilitated by: Meri Yallowitz, Principal, Metropolitan Diploma Plus HS, Michael Wiggins, Fresh Prep Program Manager)
In this session, teachers working to prepare young people for the Regents Exam in U.S. and Global History will discover ways to harness aspects of Hip Hop and youth culture to create more positive teacher student relationships, increase levels of student engagement, and improve academic outcomes for struggling students.
